During the summer of 2024, I had the opportunity to work as an EFL teacher with Embassy Summer Malta, and it was a truly rewarding experience. From day one, I felt part of a supportive and collaborative team, where both teachers and managers worked towards a shared goal - maximising learning opportunities for our students.
One of the aspects I appreciated most was the constructive feedback from our manager, which helped me develop my teaching skills. Combined with the hands-on experience I gained throughout the summer, this allowed me to become a more confident and effective teacher. Additionally, whenever I needed support in handling classroom challenges, the academic management team was always there to provide guidance, ensuring a smooth and professional resolution.

I've been working with Embassy Summer every summer since 2017, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. During one of those summers, I had the opportunity to work as an academic assistant, which gave me valuable insight into the care and effort involved in running the school. Working as an Activity Leader for Embassy Summer in beautiful Malta was an unforgettable experience. When I first started, I was a student who was afraid to speak English. This job helped me overcome that fear in an incredible way, and it gave me so much confidence in communication. Working with an international team of people from all over the world was not only enriching but also taught me the importance of teamwork and mutual support. Every day, we organized activities, guided students around the most beautiful places in Malta, and, of course, enjoyed an amazing summer together. Accompanying students from different countries, showing them stunning locations, and learning about their cultures was truly inspiring. Visiting iconic Maltese spots like the Blue Lagoon, Mdina, or Valletta with them and sharing their excitement was something that always filled me with joy.
